How to declare a gun as disposed of or lost using the RFD Register on Rightgun.uk
Rightgun.uk allows you to formally record firearms that have been disposed of or declared lost within your RFD Register. This helps you maintain accurate records, meet compliance requirements, and generate supporting documentation when required.
Declaring a gun as disposed of or lost
Log in to your Rightgun.uk account using your registered credentials.
Go to Armoury and use sidebar filters (desktop) or the Filter button (mobile) to locate the relevant gun.
Click on the gun listing to open its details.
From the Action menu, select Dispose or Loss, depending on the situation.
Enter all required details, including:
- Customer or supplier name (if applicable)
- Licensing information
- Date of disposal or loss
- Additional notes or further information
- Services (if applicable)
- Financial details (not applicable in case of Loss)
- Document generation options
Click Create to complete the process.
The latest status of the gun will now be updated in your RFD Register.
You can review full details in the Transactions section for that gun and download any required documents for offline records or for sharing receipts and compliance documentation.
